The Tonale Pass is located at 1.883 meters of altitude on sea level and divides Ortles Alps from Adamello and Presanella Alps.
The Pass connects the Val di Sole Valley with the high Valle Camonica Valley (Ponte di Legno). It is considered one of the most important ski resorts of the Trentino region, as it disposes of more than 100 km of slopes, from 2006 it is moreover connected with the ski stations of Ponte di Legno and Temù.
On the slopes of the Vedretta Presena in the Tonale area you can ski from October till July.
